Henry Cavill is a British actor. He portrayed Superman in the 2013 film Man of Steel and will reprise the role for 2015's Batman vs. Superman and other future films. Cavill had nearly been sact in other failed films as Superman as well as narrowly missing out on the role in 2006's Superman Returns. He is the first non-American actor to portray Superman.
